- 3 qty. Lemon - 170 gr.6 oz. Sugar - 2000 ml.66.5 fl. oz. Water
1. Wash lemons well and freeze them about 3-4 hours in a freezer bag. 2. Cut lemons into small cubes. 3. Put lemons and sugar in a food processor and process about 1-2 minute. 4. Pour lemon sugar mixture into a large mixing bowl, add 2000 ml.66.5 fl. oz. water and stir with a spoon to melt sugar about 20-30 seconds. 5. Cover it with plastic wrap and set aside about 15-20 minutes. 6. Pour lemonade mixture through a strainer, serve cold.
Footnote: You can add more sugar if desired. I sometimes prepare this recipe with 2 lemons and one orange, you can try it with orange also.
Tips: Fridge at least 2 hours before serving. I serve with fresh mint, lemon slices and ice cubes. I have also orangeade recipe prepared with the same recipe.
