Coconut Tiramisu Balls

Best way of consuming leftover cakes, coconut tiramisu balls

- 175 gr.6 oz. Chocolate Sponge Cake
- 1 qty. Instant Coffee Teaspoon
- 50 ml.1.5 fl. oz. Water Lukewarm
- 25 gr.1 oz. Shredded Coconut 3 Tablespoons
- 3 qty. Oats Tablespoons
- 1 qty. Cinnamon Ground Teaspoon
- 0.5 qty. Ground Cardamom Teaspoon
- 50 gr.2 oz. Cream Cheese About 1 Tablespoon

For The Topping:
- 20 gr.0.5 oz. Shredded Coconut


1. Mash the cake slices with a fork.
2. Add cream cheese, coffee (prepared with 50 ml.1.5 fl. oz. water and 1 teaspoon instant coffee), cinnamon, shredded coconut, cardamom and oat.
3. Mix until well combined. It should be easy to shape, if not, add some more oat or coconut.
4. Make small balls and roll in shredded coconut.
5. Enjoy with a cup of coffee.

Footnote: This recipe is one of the best ways of consuming leftover cakes. They taste like a tiramisu with the additional taste of coffee and cream cheese. You can use any type of cake you want, I used chocolate cake. If you use vanilla cake, you can add 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder to get chocolate taste. I roll them in the shredded coconut, you can use cocoa powder or dip them in the melted chocolate.
Tips: If the mixture is too sticky, you can add some more cake, oat or shredded coconut. I used espresso, you can change it with your favourite coffee.
