- 2 qty. Orange - 150 gr.5.5 oz. Sugar - 2500 ml.83.5 fl. oz. Water - 1 qty. Lemon Salt Teaspoon
1. Wash 2 oranges well and freeze them at least 5 hours. 2. Remove oranges from the freezer, let them rest about 5 minutes. 3. Chop oranges into cubes, Do not peel them. 4. Put oranges and sugar in food processor and blend until smooth. 5. In a large mixing bowl, pour orange mixture, add lemon salt and water, stir and wait about 15-20 minutes. 6. Drain the orange mixture and refrigerate in closed jars. Serve cold.
Footnote: Instead of lemon salt you can use juice of 1/2 lemon. Amount of sugar depends on you, taste it and increase or decrease the amount of sugar.
Tips: You should freeze oranges at least 5 hours. Since we use the orange peel, wash them well and try to use organic oranges.
